We are the first responders for all motor vehicle accidents involving trapped individuals, entangled machinery, or perilous water-related emergencies. Alongside HEMSI, the local ambulance service, we also offer assistance in medical and public emergencies as required.

1 killed, 1 injured in Friday morning crash in Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - A person is dead and another injured after a crash occurred on Kelly Springs Road and Highway 53 Friday morning.
Don Webster with Huntsville Emergency Medical Services, Inc. (HEMSI) confirmed one is dead and one woman was injured in the crash. The woman injured was taken to Huntsville Hospital Trauma Services, where she remains in stable condition.... (Full Story & Photos)

Two people killed in separate wrecks across Madison County identified

MADISON CO., Ala. (WAFF) - The two people who were killed in two separate wrecks on Wednesday morning have been identified.
Madison County Coroner Tyler Berryhill identified one of the victims as 63-year-old John Cooper/
Cooper was riding on his motorcycle when he and several other vehicles were involved in the wreck.

One injured after dump truck overturns in Madison County

MADISON CO., Ala. (WAFF) - Emergency crews responded to a wreck after a dump truck overturned in Madison County Friday morning.
Crews on the scene on the scene tell us one person was injured in the wreck and taken to the hospital for treatment.
The wreck happened on Old Railroad Bed Road near Jim McLemore Road.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - Multiple people are injured following a wreck on Thursday night in Huntsville.
Huntsville Police said the roadway from Parkhill Road to Scenic Overlook was closed due to a multi-car wreck.

The Huntsville Madison County Rescue Squad responded to the 9000 block of Mooresville road on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 to assist Huntsville Police with removing a vehicle from the water. Huntsville police responded to reports of a vehicle crash in the early hours of May 15, 2024. Man killed in industrial accident on Memorial Parkway

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - A man is dead after granite fell on him in an industrial incident on Wednesday morning, according to Don Webster of Huntsville Emergency Medical Services Inc. (HEMSI).
Webster said the incident occurred at 11309 Memorial Parkway.

Moores Mill Fire, Huntsville-Madison Rescue Squad pull car out of Flint River

MADISON COUNTY, Ala (WHNT) — The Moore's Mill Volunteer Fire Department (MMVFD) says it and several other agencies responded Friday after a car ran off into Flint River.
Moore's Mill VFD Spokesperson Ethan Fitzgerald said the department received the call around 5 p.m. He said the vehicle was at a put-in spot near Oscar Patterson Road and Rube Robinson Road when it entered the water.
