The Rescue Squad drew raffle tickets for the two DeWalt Tool Prizes on Thursday, May 14th. The first prize, a Dewalt DC6PAKIA Heavy Duty XRP 18 Volt Cordless 6-Tool Combo Kit, was won by Daniel T. of Hazel Green. The second prize, a DeWalt DC920KA XRP 18V Cordless Drill, was won by Jon D. of Huntsville. Many thanks go out to those that purchased tickets or made donations to the Huntsville-Madison County Rescue Squad.

The Huntsville-Madison County Rescue Squad, Inc. was organized in 1963 by a small group of concerned citizens interested in assisting local authorities with the provision of first aid and rescue services. After originally beginning operations out of an old school bus, the Rescue Squad members built their first station at 820 Cook Avenue in Huntsville, Alabama.
Today, the all-volunteer Rescue Squad is based on Cook Avenue and is an active part of the public safety community, providing rescue services, such as technical rescue and extrication, water rescue and recovery, rough terrain search and rescue, and EMS First Response.
